Wow. This is it!
This is the precious day somewhere in the middle of my life that will never be had again -- and I am so grateful for it.
I'm coming up on what feels like a major milestone...
Tomorrow the kids turn 7, and I will be 35. I'm not sure why this feels different than any other year, perhaps it's just because I want it to. Or perhaps those numbers are just nice and round -- I have always been a fan of odd numbers.
Or, maybe it's because of the abundance of gifts the Universe has been offering me lately. Here are a few that I am truly grateful for:
* I'm back in school after not being there for TEN years! And this time, I'm not completely burned out -- in fact, I'm totally into it. Plus, I'm studying what I love...and it's related to what I am already doing for work anyway.
* My relationship, the one that had seemed completely lost, doomed and never to return has miraculously transformed into something new and better. Being apart--I mean truly apart--from your significant other is sometimes the necessary and blessed catalyst for growth and change.
* Going with last years theme -- on October 1st, a cat came to visit and it seems as if she may stay with us. She's lovely and sweet, and she needs a name that suits her. Smitty was the cat that found us last year -- he was only with us a short time, though I am so grateful for the time that he was here.
* Teachers are amazing. The ones that are teaching me now, my kids teachers at their school, and all the teachers that have touched our lives over the years. I had this epiphany yesterday about how each of our teachers leave their impression on us; an impression that lasts an entire lifetime -- we are able to continue carrying their gifts with us on our life-journey.

:-) I love It, keep up the good work beautuful!
