I'm in the market for a new superfood that Shazzie speaks of in her new video series on "Superfoods". It's a chinese herb called He Shou Wu, which I had never heard about before until seeing her video series. Apparently it's one of the many "feel incredible" kind of superfoods on the planet at the moment...so I am pretty determined to give it a go.
The only organic supply I could find for He Shou Wu was on Ebay, and am very pleased and excited to get it...although it has been backordered, and I don't know when I will be getting it. I am hoping it is a reliable source, and I won't have to go elsewhere. It seems as if the seller is on top of their game, so I am being patient and just waiting and hoping. :-)
He Shou Wu also goes by another name, Fo-Ti...this is one of the reasons I found it difficult to locate. I think I actually had to look on Ebay under the "Fo-Ti" name rather than He Shou Wu, in order to find it.
I'll post an update on my experience with it when I get it and start using it!
Here is a link to Shazzie's "Superfoods are for real" video series (my favorite is part 2...it's a 4 part series); Scroll down to the middle of the page.
Yes, I've looked at asian markets, although not extensively. It's not likely that they would carry organic herbs, though. I'm hoping that soon, the asian markets will start having a demand (and a supply) for organic products in their markets...for produce and herbs; that would be great!

How about the Asian markets? The ones that have the medicinal herbs.
